HTML5-based financial charting provider ChartIQ has launched the lat t version of itEnsemblele platform, which allows clients to combine third-party applications into their in-house systems with no additional development work required.

The upgraded version also enabl busin s curate and acc s their large application librari making it easy for end-users to discover and organize the apps that are most relevant to their work.
Other new featur include an updated d ign and user experience, remote d ktop for Windows 7 and 10, as well as FDC3 support. In addition, Finsemble 4.0 remains witreloadeded charting, blotters, chat, news, and market data widgets from ChartIQ and an ecosystem of third-party providers.
The upgrade is ChartIQ’s lat t development since the company secured an undisclosed strategic inv tment from US banking giant Citi for itEnsemblele d ktop interoperability offering. The lat t funding round came a few months after ChartIQ raised over $17.0 million in Seri B funding, led by Germany-based inv tment firm Digital+ Partners.
“Many organizations don’t realize that the way they are working just isn’t working. Within the finance industry alone, end-users are using dozens, often hundreds of different applications that do not easily connect or communicate with each other. This is a huge waste of time and money, not to mention a barrier to innovation, ” said Dan Schleifer, CEO of ChartIQ.
Expanding into crypto space
ChartIQ provid financial charting and data visualization software to banks, brokerag , financial portals, trading platforms, and r earch analytics providers. The Virginia-based player in the so-called ‘smart d ktop’ segment has also expanded its product suite for cryptocurrency traders with a crypto-specific analysis and trading toolkit. The product is considered a charting tool but is bundled with many other featur to help traders develop and execute their strategi .
The offering is the lat t in a spate of deals since the trading software maker expanded into the cryptocurrency market, culminating in partnerships with leading bitcoinCoinageg like Coinone,Bittertamp, and Bittrex, amongst others.
